Dr. Wetsi Nkholise is the Chief Commercial Officer. Dr. Wetsi has served and practiced in various industries, namely automotive, petrochemical, and mining, among others. He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of collaborating closely with executives across diverse organizations to achieve strategic objectives. His 20 years of experience includes skillfully managing cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiencies that align with overarching goals. Dr. Wetsi brings a wealth of experience to UMK, with extensive knowledge in cultivating robust community relations, skillful commercial negotiations, and proactive risk mitigation. He excels in devising comprehensive operations strategies, ensuring end-to-end pipeline management and seamless planning, with a consistent history of surpassing KPIs. He also aligns with the principles of  Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), and King IV Corporate Governance, bringing a well-rounded skill set that includes the application of continuous improvement tools. Dr. Wetsi holds the following qualifications:

• Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) in Business Administration with Specialisation in Supply Chain & Commercialisation
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Baccalaureus Technologiae in Mechanical Engineering
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
